Design & Build - Bamboo Buffalo Bar @ Jai Thep Festival 2019, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Built purely from Bamboo & Wires with no power-tools involved, the Buffalo bar takes inspiration for the bamboo materials, its ability to flex and hold in tension, the organic forms of South-East Asian Architecture combining with the geometric shape of a ‘Hyperbolic Paraboloid’
The Buffalo Bar served as the main bar of the festival running 24 hours around the clock on both sides, sandwiched between the Main Stage (Buffalo Stage) and the River Stage.
